Today I’m sharing with you my favorite hack to getting cheap wall art! That’s right pretty much any art work, for less than $10. This tip has helped me decorate my college dorm and my home.
The key to this hack is: digital art. So many people make art and sell it as a digital file on Etsy (including myself *cough cough*). You can browse so many different styles of artwork that people have created digitally. Then, once you find find one you like in the size that you want, you can purchase the digital file for typically less than $10!
This past year my dad and I started to make digital art. It is such a fun hobby that we have shared and it’s been so cool to see each other grow and to help each other create new pieces. We decided to venture out and try to sell some of our art on Etsy and Redbubble and we would absolutely love it if you checked out or work. HINT: this hack works with our art too! It’s been tested!

THE HACK
Now back to the hack. You may be thinking, that’s great, Kate, but what am I supposed to do with a digital file? The next step is to get it printed at Walmart, CVS, or Shutterfly, basically anywhere that can print photos. Depending on the size and style this can cost as little as $3 for smaller prints and up to $25 for large poster sizes. You can get the prints shipped straight to your house or you can pick them up in store.
The final step is to grab a frame! If you don’t already have one, you can purchase frames at a pretty affordable price at Home Goods, a craft store like Michael’s and you can even find some really cute and affordable ones at thrift stores!
I hope you enjoy decorating your home in an affordable way! If you purchase any of our art please tag us so we can reshare it. We do custom pieces as well, so if you want any colors changed please let us know and we can make it work! Happy decorating!
Check out our Redbubble for other products like phone cases, journals, and masks HERE.
