I asked and you answered! I recently (and finally) bought the Beauty Blender Bounce Liquid Whip Long Wear Foundation. Even though it came out a few months ago, many of you still wanted a review, so here it is.
This foundation is a whopping $40, so it is definitely an investment for a foundation. That being said, there are several on the market with a similar price tag. It claims to be a weightless foundation with velvet to matte finish. To me this means it should basically feel and look like your own skin, but maybe a touch more matte. It also claims that it is full coverage and works for all skin types. I personally have normal to dry skin, but usually matte foundations work well for those with oily and combination skin. This product is gluten free, cruelty free, and vegan. It is also free of fragrance.
Now that we have all the info out of the way, we can get down to the review of the product and a wear test. I first tried on the product at 2:30pm and immediately fell in love. It is definitely buildable up to full coverage. It is matte, but I don’t find it to be too drying. It truly is very lightweight to point where I feel like I could easily forget that I’m wearing foundation. Another thing to note is that all of my products like bronzer, blush, and highlighter blended normally on top of the foundation.
I then carried on with my day, going for a walk, cleaning the house, and going out for ice cream with friends! By the end of the day here is what my makeup looked like! Everything stayed in place really well (other than my nose, but that’s because of allergies). My blush, bronzer, and highlight faded a bit, but that happens with every foundation.
Overall, I’m really impressed by this foundation and will continue to use it. It reminds me a lot of the Maybelline Super Stay Full Coverage Foundation which is only a quarter of the price. If you’re on a budget I would recommend trying the Maybelline one, but if you’re not on a budget this is a great foundation and I definitely recommend!
